NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 11th August, 1978
S.O. 501(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso lo sub- section (1) of the section 25 of the Ten Act, 1953 (29 of 1953), the Central Government hereby fixes eight paise per kilogram as the rate at which a duty of excise on all tea produced in India shall be levied and collected as a cess for the purposes of the said Act, from the date of publication of this notification in tlic • Official Gazette.
