Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government hereby rescinds the Levy Sugar Supply (Control) Order, 1972 pub- lished with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Food) No. G.S.R. 310(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 15th June, 1972 :
Provided that nothing contained in this Order shall affect any direction issued under clause 2 of the Levy Sugar Supply (Control) Order. 1972 before the date of publication of this Older in the Official Gazette, in respect of the sugar pro- duced during 1977-78 season :
Provided further that the Central Government shall, for the purpose of completing the delivery or despatch of the entire quantity of levy sugar as required by any of the direc- tions, referred to in the preceding proviso, have the power to extend the date specified in any such direction.

Com./Sugar.—In exercise of the powers conferred by scc;io.i 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, J955 (10 of ]'v5;i), .ne Central Government hereby rescinds ihe following Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of. Agriculture (Department of Food), or Ministry of Agriculture anii Irrigation (Department of Food), as the case may be, namely :—•
(i) G.S.R. 3O9(R)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the J 5th
June, 1972;
(li) G.S.R, 458(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 7th Nov-
ember, 1972;
(iii) G.S.R. 509(K)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 28ih Nov-
ember, 1973;
(iv) G.S.R. 67O(E)/Ess. Com
ember, 1974;
(v) G.S.R. 571(E)/Ess. Cora./Sugar, dated the 29th Nov-
ember, 1975;
(vi) G.S.R. 887(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 19lh Nov-
ember, 1976; and
(vii) G.S.R. 767(E)/Ess. Com//Sugar, dated the 22nd Nov-
ember, 1977 ;
2. Notwithstanding anything contained in this Order, the Sugar (Price Determination for 1977-78 Production) Order, 1977, published with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation (Depart- ment of Food) No. G.S.R. 767(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar, dated the 22nd December, 1977, shall continue to apply to the sugar produced during 1977-78 season in respect of which any direc ion has been issued under clause 2 of ihe I evy Sugar Supply (Control) Order, 1972 before the da'.e of pub- G.S.R. 415(E)/Es". Coin./Susar—in exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), read with clause 5 of the Sugar (Control) Order, 1966, the Central Government hereby rescinds the following Orders of the Government of India in the Ministry of Agriculture (Department of Food), namely :•—
(i) G.S.R. 1342/Bs.s. Com./Sugar, dated the 14th Sep- tember, 1971; and
(ii) GS.R. 311(E)/Ess. Com./Sugar, da'cd the 15th June, 1972.
