New Delhi, the 17th August, 1978
G.S.R, 417(E).-—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 13 of the Foregin Exchange Regulation Act, 1973 (46 of 1973) and in partial modification of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance No. 12(11VF. 1/48, dated the 25th August, 1948, the Central Government hereby orders that the State Bank, of India, constituted under the State Bank of India Act, 1955 (23 of 1955), may import into India any gold for the purposes of the Gold Jewellery Export Replenishment Scheme, notified by the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce, Civil Supplies, and Co-operation in the Public Notice No. 59-ITC(PN)/78 dated the 17th August, 1978.
