984 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(n )](Department of Industrial Development) No. S.O. 2 6 ( E )/ I8AA/IDRA/78 dated the 13lh April, 1978, the management of the industrial undertaking of Messrs. Sri Durga Spinning and Weaving Mills Limited, Konnagar, District Hooghly, West Hengal (hereinafter referred lo as the said industrial undertaking) has been taken over under clause (b) of r/ub- seclion (1) of section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulation) Act, 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period of five years commencing from the 13th April, 1978 ;
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied thai in
relation to the said industrial undertaking it is necessary so
to do in the interest of the general public wilh a view to
preventing fall in the volume of production of the scheduled
industry, namely, cotton textile industry ;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18FB of the said Act, the Central Government hereby declares that the opera- tion of all contracts, assurances of property, agreements, settle- ments, awards, standing orders or other instruments in force immediately before the date of. publication of this Order in the Official Gazette (other than those relating to secured lia- bilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the said industrial undertaking or the company owning such industrial undertaking is a party or which may be applicable to the said industrial undertaking or company shalr remain suspended for a period of one year and all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities, accruing Or arising thereunder before the said date shall remain suspended for the said period,
