ORDER
New Delhi, the 23rd August, 1978
G.S.R. 429(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by the third proviso to sub-section (1) of section 10 of the Comptroller and Auditor General's (Duties, Powers and Conditions of Service) Act, 1971 (56 of S971), the Presi- dent, after consultation with the Comptroller and Auditor-General, hereby relieves the Comptroller and Auditor-General from the responsibility of keep- ing the General Provident Fund accounts of all employees of the Government of the State of Uttar Pradesh (permanent employees and those temporary employees who have put in one year's continuous service) who arc drawing pay in the- pay scale of Rs. 185-265 or below.
2. This Order shall come into force on the 1st day of September, 1978.
