NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 24th August, 1978
G.S.R. 431(E).~-Tn pursuance of the provisions of sub-rule (4) of rule 1 of the Standards of Weifthts and Measures (Packaged Commodities) Rules, 1977, in partial modification of the notification of the Government of fndia in the late Ministry of Civil Supplies and Cooperation No. G.S.R. 621(E), dated the 26th September, 1977, and in supersession of the noti6cation of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce, CivD Supplies and Cooperation (Department of Civil Supplies and Cooperation) No. G.S.R. 346(E), dated the 30th June. 1978, the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of November, 1978 as the date on which the following provisions ef the said rules shall come into force, namely :—
(i) rule 5 ;
(ti) clauses (e) and (e) of sub-rule (J) of rule 6;
(iii) rule 7;
(iv) sub-rules (3), (4), (5) and (6) of rule 12;
(v) rules 13, 14, 1?, 20, 21, 28, 29, 30, 31; 32, 3 3; and
(vi) so much of the provisions of rule 34 as relate to any component, part or material used in any workshop, service station or any other place where servicing or repairing of any bicycle or tricycle is undertaken.
