NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 31st August, 1978
No. F. 3 (18)-NS/77—The President hereby makes the following rules further
to amend the Post Office (Time Doposits) Rules, 1970, namely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Post Office (Time Deposits) (Second
Amendment) Rules, 1978.
(2) They shall come into force on the first day of October, 1978.
2. In the Table below Rule 5 of the Post Office (Time Deposits) Rules, 1970, after item (6) "Charitable Endowment" and the entries relating- thereto, the follo- wing item and entries shall be inserted namely :—*

NOTE. -An authority controlling the funds of the Sanchayika may open only 1-year
