IMPORT TRADE CONTROL
Subject : Gold Jewellery Export Replenishment Scheme.
File No. 12/4/78/EPC : Attention is invited to the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 59-ITC (PN)/78, dated the 17th August, 1978, on the above subject.
2. The following amendments shall be made in the Appendix to the aforesaid
Public Notice :—

'] he existing para shall be amended to read as under : —
"The scheme will be limited to exports effected against such orders as are backed by cither an irrevocable letter of credit or payment on cash-on-dclivery basis. The documents should be negotiated through authorised exchange dealers only. The export order should relate to a single buyer overseas, although it may cover more than one item of export."
The following shall be added at the end:—
Para 12

"(If the purity of gold used is the same in respect of all or somer of the items to be exported, the exporter may give the total weight of gold and the total value of such items as arc of the same purity, instead of giving their details itemwise)."
