New Delhi, the 14th September, 1978

S.O. 565(E).—Whereas the Government of Maharashtra have intimated tome alterations in the names of certain territorial divisions referred to in the description of constituencies given in Schedule XIII of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976;

And whereas the Commission considers it necessary and expedient to adopt the revised spellings in the names of constituencies and of territorial divisions referred to in the description of the constituencies in the said Schedule of the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976, to bring the Order up-to-date;

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub- Kction (1) of section 9 of the Representation of the People Act, 1950, the flection Commission hereby makes the correc- tion* in the said Order as follows :—
