S.O. 579{E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of sec- tion 21 of the Wakf Act, 1954 (29 of 1954), read with the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Legislative Department) No. 4/3/73-Wakf, dated the 30th December, 1975, the Central Government, in consultation with the Punjab Wakf Board, hereby appoints Shri Akhtar Husain, (Retired District Judge, U.P.), as Secretary of the Punjab Wakf Board for a period of one year with effect from the date he assumes charge of that office,
