IMPORT TRADE CONTROL

Subject : Last date for filing applications for automatic licences by Actual Users (Industrial) during April 1978—March 1979.

File No. IPC/3/15/78.—Attention is invited to para 192 in Chapter 20 of Import Policy, 1978-79 published under the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 22-1TC- (PN)/78 dated the 3rd April, 1978, according to which the last date for submission of applications for "Automatic" Licences by Actual Users (Industrial) was 30th September, 1978.

2. On the basis of representations received, it has been decided to extend the said last date upto 31st October, 1978.

File No. IPC/65/5/78-79.—Attention is invited to para 3 of the Department of Commerce Public Notice No. 61—ITC(PN)|78, dated the 17th August, 1978.

2. On the basis of representations made in this regard, it has been decided to delete the words "at Indian Ports" appearing in Public Notice No. 61-ITC(PN)/78, dated the 17th August, 1978 with effect from the date of issue of the said Public Notice.

3. Attention is also invited to Public Notice No. 58-1TC- (PN)|78 dated the 3rd August, 1978 on the above subject. On the basis of representations received, it has also been decided that the eligible Actual Users can import Dodecyl Benzene having the same chemical specification but of diffcrct manufactures as "Oronite-56" and "Oronite-60".

4. The Public Notices No, 58-TTC(PN)/78 dated 3-8-78 and 61-ITC(PN)/78 dated 17-8-78 may be deemed to have betn amended accordingly.
