MINISTRY OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 17th October, 1978

G.S.R. 499(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 24 of the Passports Ac!, 1967 (15 of 1967), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Passports Rules, 1967, namely :—

(1) These rules may be called the Passports (Third Amendment) Rules,

1978.

(2) These rules shall come into force on the date of publication in the

Official Gazette,

(3) Tn Schedule I of the Passports Rule;?, 1967,—

(i) against Serial No. fi in column 3, for the existing entry, the following

entry shall bo substituted, namely :—

"The State of Uttar Pradesh";

(ii) after Serial No. 14 the following shall be inserted, namely :—

"15 (a) Passport Officer, Bhopal The State of Passport Office, Bhopal) Madhya Pradesh

(b) Public Relations Officer, -do-Bhopal, (Passport Office, Bhopal) (c) Superintendent, Bhopal -do- (Passport Office, Bhopal) [No. VI/401/48/78J A. M. KHALEELI, Jt, Secy.
