CENTRAL EXCISES
G.S.R. 502(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, and
G.S.R. 503(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts aluminium, falling under Item No. 27 of the First Schedule to the Central Ex- cises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), and requires by the Central Government to be sold or supplied in terms of the provisions contained in the Aluminium (Control) Order

1970, as in force for the time being, read with the notifica- tions issued thereunder, from so much of the duty of excise leviable thereon as is in excess of the duty calculated on the basis of the sale price fixed by the Central Government from time to time, in terms of the provisions contained in the aforesaid Order, as the price payable for such aluminium to the producer thereof.

G.S.R, 504{E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) or Department of Revenue and Banking, as the case may be, namely :—
(1) No. 167/75-Central Excises, dated 15th July, 1975.
(2) No. 265/76-Central Excises, dated 30th October,
1976.
