NOTIFICATION
S. O. 599(E).—Whereas the Election Commission of India has decided to register the organisation with the name and style "Bharatiya Socialist Party" as a political party under (he provisions of paragraph 3 of the Election Symbols (R^servalkn and Allotment) Order, 1968 ;
Now, therefore, in pursuance of clause (c) of sub-paragraph (1) and sub- paragraph (2) of paragraph 17 of the said Symbols Order, the Commission hereby makes the following amendment to its notification No. 56/78(1), dated 25th January, 197S published as S. O. 41(E) in the Gazette of India, Extra- ordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (ii), dated 25th January, 1978, as amended from lime lo iime, namely :—
In the Table appended to the said notification after entry 40 ; the follow- ing entry shall be inserted ;
"41. Bharatiya Socialist Party—1, Andhra Pradesh, 2. Bihar, 3. Gujarat, 4. Himachal Pradesh, 5. Kerala, 6, Madhya Pradesh, 7. Mahara- shtra, 8. Orissa, 9. Rajasthan, 10. Uttar Pradesh, 11. West Bengal, and 12. Delhi.
