Subject : Import and Export Trade with Tibet region of China.
File No. IPC/(S3/57/78.—Attention is invited to th" Department of Com- merce Notification No. IPC/63/57/78 dated the 26th October, 1978 according to which prohibition on import and export trade with Tibet region of China has been withdrawn.
2. Import and Export Trade with Tibet region of China will hereafter be regulated in accordance with the normal import and export policy and proce- dures as hi force from time to time. Border trade (i. e. frontier trade) between India and Tibet region of China shall not, however, be allowed.
