G.S.R. 519(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 at" the Customs Act, 1962 (512 of 1962), the Centre! Government, liL-ins satisfied that it is necessary inthc public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 86-Customs, dated 25th April, 1978, namely ;—

In paragraph 2 of the said notification, for the figures, letters and word "31st October, 1978", the figures, letters and word "31st Maidi. 1979" shall be substituted.
