Now, therefore, in pursuance of the provisions of sub- section (1) of section 149 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby calls upon the said constituency to elect a person to fill the said vacancy before 6th December, 1978 (Wednesday), in accor- dance with the provisions of the said Act and of the Rules and Orders made thereunder.

S.O. 630(E).—In pursuance of the provisions of section 30 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951), the Election Commission hereby appoints, with respect to (he bye-election to be held In 58-Fatehpur parliamentary cons- tituency in the State of Uttar Pradesh in pursuance of its notification No. 100/UP-HP/2/78(l), dated the 3rd Novem- ber, 1978 :—

(a) 10th November, 1978 (Friday), as the last dale for

making nominations;

(b) 11th November, 1978 (Saturday), as the date for

the scrutiny of nominations ;

the withdrawal of candidatures;

(d) 3rd December, 1978 (Sunday), as the date on

which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and

(e) 6th December, 1978 (Wednesday), as the date be-

fore which the election shall be completed.

S.O. 631(E).—In pursuance of section 56 of the Repres- entation of the People Act, 1951 (43 of 1951) the Election Commission hereby fixes the hours from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. ta the hours during which a poll shall, if necessary, be taken for the bye-election to the House of the People from 58-Fatehpur parliamentary constituency to be held in pur- suance of its Notification No. 100/UP-HP/2/78 (1), dated the 3rd November, 1978.
