EXPORT TRADE CONTROL
Subject :—Export of Live Buffaloes during 1978-79.
No, 34/1/78-EII—Attention is invited lo the Exports (Control) Amendment Order No. E(C)O, 1977/AM (76) dated (he 4th November, 1978, published in the Gazette of India Extraordi- nary, on the above subject,
2. Under the aforesaid amendment to the Exports (Control) Order, the export of Live Buffaloes i.e. Female buffaloes (only culls) and male buffaloes not used for breeding and draught purposes is allowed under OGL-3 upto 31.3.1979 subject to minimum export price of Rs. 3.50 per kg. (FOB) of live weight and other conditions as may be laid down.
3, It has accordingly been decided that the following othpr
conditions shall apply to the export of live buffaloes under OGL-3 :—
Export will be allowed on production of Veterinary Health Certificate issued by the Director of Animal Husbandry of the State concerned to the effect that the buffaloes tendered for export are such female buffaloe (only culls) (i) Madras Director Animal Husbandry, Tamil
Nadu.
(ii) Clacutta Director, Veterinary Services, West
Bengal.
(iii) Bombay District Animal Husbandry Officer and in his absence Research Officer Mucosil Disease Unit, Aarcy, Bombay.
(iv) Cochin Principal, Veterinary College, Trichur.
(v) New Delhi Deputy Director, Animal Husbandry,
Delhi Administration, Delhi.
(vi) Attari Director of Animal Husbandry, Punjab,
Chandigarh.
4, Export will be allowed only for shipments to be made on oi before 31.3.1979, without any grace pciiod whatsoever and no export shall be allowed for shipment to be made after 31.3.1979 even in fulfilment of firm commitments, if any, claimed to have been made on or before 31.3.1979.
