ORDER
New Delhi, the 18th November, 1978
S.O. 669(E).—lii exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1055), the Central Government hereby rescinds the Refined Groundnut Oil (Regulation of Refining and Price) Control Order, 1977, published with the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Civil Supplies and Cooperation No. S.O. 6O2(E) dated !he 1st August. 1977:
Provided that such rescission shall not affect —
(a) the previous operation of the said Order or anything duly done or
suffered thereunder; or
(b) any right privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or in-
curred under the said Order ; or
fc) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any
offence committed against the said Order ; or
(d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any suck right privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture, or punishment as aforesaid ;
and any such investigation, legal pi deeding or remedy may be Instituted, continued or enforced, and any such penalty, forfeiture or punishment may be imposed as if the said Order had not teen rescinded.
