Rules, 1974
G S R- 566(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Fundamental Rale 45, as made applicable to the officers of the Lok Sabha Secretariat by Recruitment and conditions of Service Order No, 185, dated the 19th December, 1957, the Speaker of the Lok S.iblw hereby makes the following Rules further to amend the Lok Sabha Secretarial (Allotment of Residences) Rules, 1974, namely :—
T. (1) These rules may be called the Lok Sabha Secretariat
(Allotment of Residences) Third Amendment Rules, 1978.
(2) They shall come into force with effect from 1st
December, 1978.
2. In the Lok Sabha Secretariat (Allotment of Residences)
Rules, 1974: —
(a) in the second proviso to clause (j) of Rule 2, for the words and figures "type II, typo 111 or IVresidences", the words and letters "type B, type C or type D residences" shall bo substituted.
(b) for the Table below Rule 4, the folbwing Table shall be
substituted, namely :—•
Types of residence
Category of officer or his monthly emoluments a? on the first day of the allotment year in which the allotment is made.
A Less than Rs. 260/-
B Less than Rs. 500/-, but not less than Rs. 260/-
C Less than Rs. 1,000/-, but not less than Rs. 500/-
Less than Rs. 1,500/-, but not less than Rs. 1,000/- n
Rs. 1,500/- and above.
