In the said notification, for the words "thirty-two per cent ad valorem plus eight hundred rupees per metric tonne" tho words "thirty-two per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted;
In the Table annexod to tho said notification, for the entry in column (4) against—
2. 43/75-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1975.
CUSTOMS
(i) Serial No, 4, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— "Appropriate amount of duty chargeable loss two thou- sand and two hundred rupees per metric tonne";
G. S. R. 573(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the notification of the Government of India in the Depart- ment of Revenue and Banking, No. 90-Customs, dated tho 18th lune, 1977.
(ii) Serial No. 6, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :— "Sixteen per cent ad valo-
