S.O. 710(E).—Whereas a vacancy has occurred in the House of the People by reason of the resignation of Shri G. Venkatswamy, a member elected to that House from 32-Siddipet (SC) Parliamentary Constituency in the State of Andhra Pradesh ;

(a) 15 December, 1978 (Friday), as the last date for
making nominations;

scrutiny of nominations;
(c) 18 December, 1978 (Monday), as the laet date for
the withdrawal of candidatures,
(d) 7 January, 1979 (Sunday), as the date on which
8 poll shall, if necessary, be taken; and
(e) 11 January, 1979 (Thursday), as the date before
which the election shall be completed.
