Subject: Import Policy, 1978-79—Import of Copper unwrought.
F. No. IPC/40/12/78.—Attention is invited to para 2 of Public Notice, No. 86-lTC(PN)/78, dated the 17th November, 1978, according to which two- thirds of the unserviced requirements for July—September, 1978, were to be supplied on two equal instalments for the months of October, 1978 and November, 1978 respectively, along with the allocations to be made to the Actual Users concerned against his registration with the canalising agency.
2. On a review of the position, it has been decided that eligible Actual Users may register their balance one-third requirements, representing the above unserviced backlog, for the month of December, 1978, with Minerals and Metals Trading Corporation for release of the same by the canalising agency in their favour against their registrationa.
