ORDER
S.O. 709(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955), the Central Government herebv rescinds the Tea (Registration of Dealers and Declaration of Stocks) Second Order, 1978, published with the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce, Civil Supplies and Cooperation (Department of Civil Supplies and Cooperation) No, S.O. 345(E) dated the 20th May, 1978 :
Provided that auch rescission shall not affect—
(a) the previous operation of the said order or anything duly done or
suffered thereunder; or
(b) any right, privilege, obligation or liability acquired, accrued or
incurred under the said Order; or
(c) any penalty, forfeiture or punishment incurred in respect of any
offence committed ugainst the said Order ; or
(d) any investigation, legal proceeding or remedy in respect of any such right, privilege, obligation, liability, penalty, forfeiture or punishment as aforesaid ;
aud any such investigation, legal proceeding or remedy may be instituted, con- tinued or enforced, and any such penalty, forfeiture or rmnishment may bo imposed as if the said Order had not been rescinded.
