S.O. 717(E).—fconsequcnt on the adoption of a Motion by the Lok Sabha on the 19th December, 1978, expelling from the membership of the Lok Sabha Shriniati Indira Nehru Gandhi, a Member elected to the Lok Subha from the Chikmagulur constituency of Karnutuka, Shritnati Indira Nehru Gandhi has ceased to be a Member of the lxik Sabha with effcel from the 19th December, t978 afternoon.
