No. IPC/65/5/78-79J.—Attention is invited to Department of Commerce PvNic Notices No. 58-ITC(PN)/78 dated the 3rd August, 1978, 61-ITC- (PN)/78, dated the 17th August, 1978 and 75-ITC(PN)/78, dated tho 6th October, 1978 according to which Actual Users who are able to produce evidence of firm contract with overseas suppliers for the supply of Dodecyl Benzene/Linear AJfcyl Benzene with firm delivery by the 31st December, 1978 are allowed to import tire item directly on the basis of quantitative clear- ances from the canalising agency (State Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Cor- poration of India Limited) and import licences issued by the concerned, re- gional licensing authorities.
