New Delhi, the 26th December, 1978S.O. 736(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 3 of the Regional Rural Banks Act, 1976 (21 of 1976), the Central Government being requested so to do by the State Bank of Saurashtra, establishes, with effect from the 26th December, 1978, a Regional Rural Bank in the State of Gujarat under the name of Jamnagar Gramin Bank, which shall operate within the local limits of the dis- trict of Jamnagar in the State of Gujarat. [No. F. 1-6/77-RRB(1)] S.O. 736/2(E).—In pursuance of sub-clause (iii) of clause (a) of sub-section (6) of section 42 of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 (2 of 1934), the Central Government hereby notifies, for the purposes of the said sub-clause, Jamnagar Gramia 980 GI/78 (1601)
