NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 23rd December. 1978
S.O. 737(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Employees' Stale Insurance Act, 1948 (34 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the 31st day of December, 1978 as Ihe da'e on which the provisions of Chapter IV (except sections 44 and 45 which have already been brought into force) nnd Chapter V and VI (except sub-section (1) of section 76 and sections 77, 78 79 and 81 which have already been brought info force) of the said Act shall come into force in the following areas in the Stale of Karnalaka, namely :—
"The Areas within—
(a) the municipal
limits of Tumkur city and Upparahalli Tumkur city ; and
(b) the village panehayat
limits ot Bhcemasandra, Maralcnahalli, Arakere and pevarayapatna villages ;
in Hobli Kasaba, Taluk Tumkur, District Tumkur."
