NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 30th December, 197S
G.S-R. 603(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) or section 13 of the Central Sales Tax Act, 1956 (74 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, namely :—
1, These rules may be called the Central Sales Tax (Registration and
Turnover) (Amendment) Rules, 1978.
2. In the Central Sales Tax (Registration and Turnover) Rules, 1957, in
rule 12,—
(i) in sub-rule (1), in the first proviso, for the figures "1978", the
figures "1979" shall be substituted;
(ii) in sub-rule (5), in the third proviso, for the figures "1978", the
figures "1979" shall be substituted.
