NOTIFICATION

CUSTOMS
G-S.R. 4(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is ne- cessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts melting scrap of iron snd steel (other than heavy melting scrap of iron and steel) falling within Chapter 73 of the First Sche- dule of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) from the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the second mentioned Act.
2. This notification shall be in force upto and inclusive of
the 30lh day of June, 1979.
