S.O. 23(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub- section (4B) of 'lection 10E of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), read with Rule 2(e) and Rule 3 of the Company Law Board (Branch) Rules, 1975 and in supersession of the Com- pany Law Board's Order No. 1 of 1978, dated the 4th January, 1978, issued in this behalf, the Company Law Board, with, the previous approval of the Central Government, hereby constitutes the following Benches of the Company Law Board with effect from the 3rd January, 1979, namely :—
BENCH NO. 1

(t) Bench No. 1, Bench No. 2 and Bench No. 1 may hear and dispose of finally all petitions and appli- cations made in respect of companies functioning throughout the country before the Company Law Board under the Company IJIW Board (Bench) Rules, 1975;
(2) Bench No. 4, Bench No. 5 and Bench No. 6 may hear and disnos" of finally all petitions and appli- cations made in respect of companies functioning in the Western and Southern Regions respectively before ihe Company Law Board under the Company l aw Board (Bench) Rules, 1975;
(3) Bench No. 7, Bench No. 8 and Bench No. 9 may hear and dispose of finally all petitions and appli- cations made in respect of companies functioning in the Eastern Region before the Company Law Board under the Company Law Board (Bench) Rules. 1975; and
(4) The Benches may hold their sittings at juch places
as may be deemed necessary.
