Subject : Export of Wheat Products viz., Maida, Rawa, Sujf, Rjesultant Atta and Wheat Bran.
F.NO. 40/26/78E-II—Attention is invited to Department of Commerce Exports (Control) Order, No. E (C) O, 1977/ AM(92) dated the 16th January, 1979, on the above subject.
2. The existing entry, against S.No. 39 at page 18 of Sec- tion II of the Export Policy, 1978-79, shall be substituted by the following :

(i) Export will bo allowed within a limited ceiling, (iif) On an application from the exporter, and also the ex- ecution of the joint bond as above in a case where this is necessary, the licen- sing authority will issue a Release Order on the Food Corporation of India (Re- gional Office concerned) to enable the roller mill to obtain supplies of wheat for the fulfilment of the export order ;
(iv) The quantity of wheat for which the Release Order will be issued will allow for a minimum extraction of 20% by way of wheat bran and 1 % of refraction, the remaining 79% being for Maida, Rawa, Suji and Resultant Atta, as is required for fulfilling the export order ;
(v) Export of Wheat bran to the extent produced by the roller mill in accordance with the above, but not exceeding 22% of wheat supplied by the Food Cor- poration of India for the purpose in any case, will also be allowed for export by the exporter, on his giving to the licensing au- thority evidence of the ful- filment of the export obli- gation in respect of Maida, Rawa, Suji and Resultant Atta ;
(vi) Ordinarily, the export or- der should cover the en- tire wheat products pro- duced out of the wheat supplied in accordance with (iv) above, but in any case : (a) if export of bran is also involved, at least 70% and (b) if export of bran is not involved, at least 60%, of the wheat products so produced shall be exported under the scheme ;
(vii) Such quantity of Maida Rawa/Suji/Resultant Atta as is left with the roller mill, after the execution of the export order as above, will be available for Its disposal in the open market in accordance with the re- levant statute.
