New Delhi. the 16th January, 1979
SO. 31(E) In pursuance of the powers conferred by sub- section (3) of section 5A of the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948), the Central Gov- ernment hereby appoints Shri M. D. Cooper and Captain D. Prasad as members of the Bombay Dock labour Board vice S/Shri S. C. Sheth and Rasiklal H. Narechania who resigncd and makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Trans- port (Transport Wing) No. S.O. 3437, dated the 28th Decem- ber, 1974, namely : --
In the said notification, under the heading "Members re- presenting the employers of dock workers and shipping com- panies" in items 2 and 4, for the words and letters "Shri S. C. Sheth" and "Rasiklal H. Narechania", the words and letters "Shri M. D. Cooper" and "Captain D. Prasad" shall res- pectively be substituted.

23, clauses (b), (c) and (d) of section 24, sections 25 to 40
and 42 of the said Act, shall come into force,
