THE FOOD CORPORATION OF INDIA

NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 19th January, 1979

No. 9-4/78-EP.—Tn exercise of the powers conferred by Section 45 of tht Food Corporations Act, 1964 (37 of 19641 and wilh the previous sanction ot the Central Government, the Food Corporation of India hereby makes tht following regulations further to amend trie Food Corporation of India (Staff Regulations, 1971 :—

1. (i) These Regulations ?

(ii) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 2nd January, 1979

2. The existing provisions under sub-regulation (4) of Regulation 51 of thi FC1 (S'aff) Regulations, 1971, shall be substituted as follows.—

"If the disciplinary authority having regard to in findings on all or anyof the articles of charge and on I he buiis of the evidence adduced durinu the inquiry, is of the opinion that any of the penalties speci- fied in claii";s (v) to (is) of Regulation 54 should be imposed on the Corporation employee, it shall make an order imposing such penalty and it shall not be necessary (o give the Corporation employee any opportunity of making representation on tire penalty proposed to b" imposed," R.
