NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 20th January, 1979
S. O. 49(E.)-—In exercise of the powers under Sub-section 6 of section 24 of the Criminal Procedure Code (Act ii of 1974), the Central Government hereby appoints Shri P. R- Vakil, senior Advucute of Supreme Court us Public Prosecutor for the purposes of prosecuting Ihc following cases forwarded under section 5(4) of the Commission of Inquiry Act, 1952 read with section 346 of the Criminal Procedure Code to the court of Shri P. K. Jain, Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Delhi, by the Commission of Inquiry constituted under Notification No. S. O. 374(E) dated 28-5-77 for the trial of persons noted against each case for offences under section; 178 and 179 Indian Penal Code :—
1. Case No. 5/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. Smt. Indira Gandhi. 2. Case No. 6/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. P. K, Mukherjee. 3. Case No. 7/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. Smt. Indira Gandhi. 4. Case No. 46/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. Dhirendra Brahmchnrl. 5. Case No. 67/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. Sanjay Gandhi. 6. Case No. 108/2 of 1978—Shri J. C. Shah vs. Bansi Lai.
Shri Vakil will be Junior Counsel lo assist Shri Karl J. KhantlHlawalft who
is the Special Public Prosecutor in all the above cases.
