Com/Sugarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 3 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966 and having regard to various factors mentioned under sub- clause (i) thereof, the Central Government, after consultation with such authorities, bodies and associations as are considered necessary by it to be consulted, hereby, on the basis of tho basic minimum price of sugarcane atRs. 10.00 per quintal linked to a recovery of 8.5 per cent or below with a premium of 11.7647 paise per quintal for ovcry 0.1 per cent incrcaso in recovery above 8.5 per cent, fixes, with immediate ofTect, the price specified in column (3) of the Schedule hereto annexed us the minimum price and shall be payable by the owfiers of the vaccum pan pro- cess sugar J'actorios specified in the corresponding entry in colu- mn (2) of the said Schedule or their agents for sugarcane deliv- ered at the gate of their factories or at any purchasing centre for sugar year 1978-79 until the 30th Sepebmcr, 1979, subject to the rebate payable therefor under clause 3A of the said Order.
