S.O. 57(E).-—In exercise of tho power? conferred under Section 3 of the
Imports and Exports (Control) Act, 1947 08 of 1947), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment to OGL No. 3/78 issued under 1TC Order No. 9/78 dated the 3rd April, 1978,
2. In respect of viscose staple fibre and polyster filament yarn (base flat- first quality), imports under Open General Licence by Actual Users (Industrial) shall be subject to the following further condition:—
"Eligible importers shall be required to register their contracts wilh the Textile Commissioner, Bombay. Imports shall be made only aftor the connected contracts have been stamped by the Textile Commis- sioner, Bombay as evidence of such registration, (For this purpose, two copies of the contract should be lodged with the Textile Com- missioner and he will return one copy to the parly duly stamped on each page.)'1
3, In respect of polyester filament yarn (base flat-first quality), imports under Open General Licence can also be made by the State Chemicals and Pharmaceu- ticals, Corporation, New Delhi for distribution to eligible actual Users subject to the condition regarding registration of contracts laid down in para 2 above.
