ORDER

New Delhi, the 6th February, 1979SO 75(E)/18KB/IDRA/79.—Whereas by the Order of the Government of India in the late Minisiry of Industrial Deve- lopment No. S.O 426(E ) / 1 8 A A / I D R A / 7 4. dated the 8th July. 1974. the management of the chemical unit of the industrial undertaking known as Messrs Associated Industrie's (Assam) Limited. Chandrapur (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking has been taken over under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 18AA of the Indus- tries (Development and Regulation) Act. 1951 (65 of 1951), for a period upto and inclusive of the 7th July 1979; 1183 GI/78 (141)

And, whereas, the Cenlrul Government is satisfied thai in relation to (he said industrial undertaking it is necessary ao to Jo in the interests of the general public with a view to preventing fall in the volume of production of the scheduled industry, namely, the Chemical industry ;

the (lute of iisiic of ibis Older (order than those relating to secured liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the said industrial undertaking or the company awning such industrial undcrtakinK is a parly or which may be applicable to such indusrual undertaking or company shall remain sus- pended for 11 period upto the 7lh July, 197y and all rights, privileges, obligations and liabilities accruing or arising there- under before the said date shall remain suspended for the said period.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by clauso (b) of sub-section ( t) of section IS PR of the :,uid Act, the Centra] Government heieby deckles that the ope- ration of all contracts, assurances, seHlemcnfs, awards, stand- ing oufeis or oiher instrument-; in lorcc immediately before
