CUSTOMS
G.S.R. *i(E).—In exercise of (he powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 173-Customs, dated the 7th September, 1978, the Central Gov- ernment, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts tea, falling under Heading No, 23 of the Second Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), when exported out of India, from the whole of the duty of customs leviat'e thereon under the said Second Schedule.

In the notification of the Liovcrnment of India in the Ministry cf Finance (Department of Revenue) No G.S.R. 34(E) (16-Customs) dated the 20th lanuary, 1979 published at page 50 of the Gazette of India, Extraordi- nary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), dated the 20th January, 1979, in the Table, for the words "in power form" read "in powder form".
