G.S.R.77(E). • In exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Passport:, Act, 1967 05 of 1%7), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Passport? Rules, 1967, numely :—
1. (1) These rules may be called the Passports (Amendmenl) Rules 1979. (2) They shall come into foi'ce on (ho date of their ptiblicption in the Official
Gazette.
2, In Schedulo I to the Passports Rules, 1967—
(i) in the entries against serial No. ?. in column .1, the word ''Orissa", shall be
omitted;
(ii) after serial No. 15, the following serial No. shall be inserted, namolv :—
