NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 21st February, 1979G.S.R. 78(E)/Ess.Com./Sugarcane.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause 3 of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966 and having regard to various factors mentioned in sub-clause (i) thereof, the Central Government, after consultation with such authorities, bodies and associations as are considered necessary by it to be consulted, hereby, on the basis of the basic minimum price of sugarcane at Rs. 10.00 (157) 1228 GI/78

12.82 per quintal linked to a recovery of 8.5 per cent or below wilh a premium of 11.7647 paise per quintal for every 0.1 per cent increase in recovery above 8,5 per cent, fixes, with immediate effect, Ihe price specified in column (3) of the Schedule hereto annexed us the minimum price and shall be payable by the owners of the vacuum pan process sugar factory specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said Schedule or their agents for sugarcane delivered at the gate of the factory or at any purchasing centre for the sugar year 1978-79 until the 30th September, 1979, subject to the rebate payable therefor under clause 3A of the said Order.
