OPEN GENERAL LICENCE NO t/79
New Delhi, the 23rd February, 1979
S.O. 109(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Imports and Expoils (Control) Act, 1947 118 of 1947), the Central Government gives genera] permission for import of Poultry Vnecine (all types) by poultry farms/hatchenes approved by the Department of Agriculture, Government of India, New Delhi, from any country except the Union of South Africa/South West Africa and Rhodesia, subject to the following conditions :—
(i) The impoitci s,hull, at the time of clearance of goods from the customs, furnish a certificate from the Department of Agriculture, New Delhi or the concerned State Director of Animal Huubandary/ Velemnry Services, regarding the essentiality of the material (descri- ption/quantity/value) to the party concerned ;
(ii) The imported material shall be subject to the "Actual User" condi-
tion ul the hands of the poultry farm/hutchery concerned ;
(iii) The vaccine so imported ha." not been ptoduced or manufactured in the Union of South Africa/South. West Africa or Rhodesia.
(iv) Such goods are shipped on 'hroujjh concernment to India on or before 31st March, 1979, without any grace period, whatsoever, fv) Nothing in this licence shall affect the application to any goods, of any other prohibition or regulation, affecting the Import thereof, In force, at the time when such goods are imported.
