In Schedule II of the said Order, against •&<&, \4 Tamil Commission under clause (d) of sub-section (3) of section 6 of the Act is hsreby published. Nadu—under column 7, the figure " 3" shall be substituted for the figure "2". ORDERWhereas under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 6 of th) Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes Orders (Amendment) Act, 1976, the proposals of the Election Commission to amend the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies Order, 1976, were published in the Gazette of India and in the Official Gazc-te of the State of Tamil Nadu on 91 hSeptember, 1977;
And whereas all objections and suggestions received in relation to the said proposals relating to the State of Tamil Nadu were considered by the Commission at public sittings held at Tiruchirapalli on k November, 1978 and Madras on 11 Novem- ber, 1978;
The Commission hereby makes the following amendments in the Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Consti- tuencies Order, 1976 (without altering the extent of any consti- tuency as given in such Order) in respect of the State of Tamil Nadu.
n. In Schedule XX of the said Order—
(1) in Part A—Parliamentary Constituencies—in 28 Peram-
balur (SC), the entry "157-Uppiliapuram (ST)", shall be
substituted for the existing enti y "157-Uppiiiapuram*';
and
(2) in Part B—Assembly Constituencies—the serial number
and name of the constituency "157-Uppiliapuram (ST)"
shall be substituted for "157-Uppiliapuram".
