NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 3rd March, 1979

S.O. 123(E>.—hi exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 5A of the Dock Workers (Regulation of Employment¹) Act, 1948 (9 of 1948), the Central Government hereby appoints the Deputy Chairman, Madia* Port Trust, Madras, as a member of the Madras Dock Labour Board and nominates the said Deputy Chairman, namely Shri V. Selvaraj. as the Chairman of the said Board and further directs that the following amendments shall, be made in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Shipping and Transport (Transport Wing) No. S.O. 412(E), dated the 27th June 1978, namely;—

In the said notification,—•

(i) under the heading "Memners representing tho Central Government", for the entry against item 1, the entry "The Deputy Chairman, Madras Port Tms1, Madras" shalf be substituted ;

(ii) for paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted,

namely :—

"2. The Central Government hereby nominates Shri V. Selvaraj Deputy Chairman, Madras Port Trust, Madras, the Chairman of the said Board."
