SO. 124(E)/18_FB/IDRA/79. -Whereas by the Older of the Government of India in the Ministry ol' Industiy (Department of Industrial Development) No. I12(E)/18AA 1DRA/79 dated the 26th Fcbi luiry, 1979, the management of the industrial undertaking known .is Messrs Brentford lllectric (India) Limited, Calcutta (hereinafter referred to as the said industrial undertaking), has been taken over under clause (a) of sub-section (1) of action 1SAA of the Industries (Development and Regulation I Act, 1951 (t>5 of 1951), for a period of six months tipto and inclusive of the 25th August, J979;
And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that in relation to the said industrial undertaking it is necessary so to do in the interests of the general public with a view to preventing hill in the volume of production of the scheduled industiy, namely, electrical industries;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers confeired by clause (b) of sub- section (1) of section J HFB of the said Act, the Cenlial Government hereby declares that the operation of all contracts, assurances of property, agree- ment?, settlements, awauls. standing order-, or other instrument in force immediately before the date of issue of Ihis Order (oih?r than those relating to secured liabilities to banks and financial institutions) to which the said in- dustiral undertaking or the company owing such industrial undertaking is a perty of which may be applicable to such industrial undertaking or company shall remain suspended for a period upto the 25th August, 1979 and that all the rights, privileges; obligations and liabilities ;iotruing or arising there- under before the said date shall remain suspended for the said period.
