ORDER

G.S.R. 211 (EJ.—Whereas it a ppears to the Centra! Government that it is necessary and exped icnt so to do for securing the equitable distribution of the essential commodity, namely fertiliser.

N^w, therefore, i.i exercise of the power:* conferred by section 3 of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 (10 of 1955) the Central Government hereby directs that the manufacturers specified in the schedule g'ven below :

1. Shall sell to the registered fertilisers dealeis in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 ofthes.iidschelulc fertilisers of the description and quantity mentioned therein 1u -ing the period 1st February, 1979 to 31st July, 1979 at the rate of one sixth of the quantity specified in the schedule in a month; and

2. Shall submit to the Central Government and the State Govt. or U.T.s and Commodity Boards pertaining to the Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 of the said Schedule a statement by 10th day of every month containing therein :—•

(i) The quantity of fertilisers despatched to various dealers in the States, Union Territories and the Commodity Gardens men- tioned in Column 1 with the dates of despatch during previous month; and

(ii) The quantity of fertilisers which the said manufacturer proposes to despatch to the various dealers in the State, Union Territories and Commodity Gardens mentioned in Column 1 in the succeeding month.
