New Delhi, the 17th March. 1979
CUSTOMS AND CENTRAL EXCISE
G-S.R. 25(HE),—In exercise of the powers conferred by section 75 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), and section 37 of the Centra] Excise und Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 1971 namely :—
1, These rules may be called the Customs and Central Excise Duties Draw- back (Amendment) Rules, 1979.
2. In the Schedule appencd to the Customs and Central Excise Duties Draw- back Rules, 1971 for Serial No. 3R and the entries relating thereto, the follow- ing shall be substituted, namely :—
"38. Manufacture of metals (other than brass art wares and electroplated
nickle stiver wares and articles) not otherwise specified."
