S.O. 145 (E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5, read with section 6 of the Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (25 of 1946), the Central Government, with the consent of the Govern- ment of the State of Uttar Pradesh hereby extends the powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special Police Establishment to the whole of the Slate of Uttar Pradesh for the investigation of offences punishable under sec- tion 302 Indian Penal Code (4? of 1860) and attempts, abetments and cons- piracies in relation to, or in connection with, the said offence and any other offence committed in the course of the same transaction arising out of the same facts, in regard to Crime No. 735 dated the. 28th November, 1978 registered at the Police Station Sihanigate, Ghaziabad in the State of Uttar Pradesh relating to alleged murder of Shri Pyare Lai Sharma Ex-MLA.
