CENTRAL EXCISES
New Delhi, the 22nd March, 1979
G.S.R. 257 (E).—Tn exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in notification of the Government of India in the Ministry o£ Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 71/78- Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1978, namely :—
Tn (lie said notification, for paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely :—
"2. Nothing contained in this notification shall, in so far as goods of the description specified against serial number 41 of the said Table, apply to manufactures of such Roods who avail of exemption under the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Nos. 74/79-Central Excises and 75/79-Central Excises, dated the 1st March, 1979,"
