New Delhi, the 26th March, 1979

S.O. 154(E),-—In pursuance of tire notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Home Affairs No, S.O. 738(E), dated the 27th December, 1978, the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of April, 1979, as the date on which the Prevention of Pood Adulteration Act, 1934 (37 of 1954) shall come into force in the State of Sikkim.
